Gallery Talk with David Jonathan Cohen

David Jonathan Cohen photographs birds and other wildlife around the world. Few destinations attract him as often as Patuxent Research Refuge, which he has visited more than 40 times in the last decade. This exhibit, though, comes from David's visiting 8 of the 13 major Galápagos Islands in January 2025. 

Meet the artist at a reception in the Visitor Center's Hollingsworth Gallery on January 24th from 2 to 4 pm. The reception includes light refreshments and a "Gallery Talk" by David at 2:30 PM.

For a limited time, David Cohen’s stunning photography will be available for

purchase throughout January at the Wildlife Images Bookstore.

Here’s how you can help and take home a beautiful piece of art:

1. Choose your favorite print from the exhibit.

2. Visit the Bookstore and inquire about purchasing.

3. Purchase your print

4. Pick up your purchase at the end of the exhibit (after January 30th)

at the Bookstore.

Important Details

• All prints will be available for pickup after the exhibit concludes.
• Additional prints are available! If multiple people select the same
• print, later buyers will experience a short wait. You’ll be notified when
• your print is ready for pickup at the bookstore.
• Print Details: Acrylic prints with hanging hardware included, featuring
• the image mounted on a sleek background.
• $100 for small prints
• $125 for larger prints
