Fundraiser for Friends of Patuxent

Wildlife Photographer David Cohen's incredibly generous fundraiser for Friends of Patuxent continues! David is donating to Friends of Patuxent ALL of the money from your print purchases. You may purchase his beautiful acrylic photographic prints, as seen in his "In the Galápagos Islands" Hollingsworth Gallery exhibit, through Saturday, February 14. All prints will arrive with a mount on the back, ready to hang. Prints are sized 12"x12" and 16"x24" and will arrive with a mount on the back, ready to hang.

Place your orders via email to our Wildlife Images Bookstore & Nature Shop Manager, Ann Carlson: wibookstore@friendsofpatuxent.org. Ann will call you securely for your payment information and will inform you when your print arrives at our shop in the National Wildlife Visitor Center. Below are the full instructions for email purchasing.

In addition, some mounted, hanging prints from David's original exhibit are also available for purchase in our physical shop, until they sell out.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR VIEWING AND ORDERING DAVID’S FUNDRAISER PRINTS

• To view details (title, species and size), select an image​ ​and click the "i" in the upper-right corner.

• Prints of the 12" x 12" images are priced at $100 each.

• Prints of the 16" x 24" images are priced at $125 each.

• The back of each print will come with a 3/4-inch mount on it, ready to hang the print from your hook or hooks on your wall.

•  To place an order, email the title and size of your selected photo, plus a good phone number, to Ann Carlson at wibookstore@friendsofpatuxent.org

• For customers placing email orders​, Ann will call customers to process their credit card payments and will send their print-order​s to David. (​Note: the credit card info will only go to Ann, securely over the phone with them.)

• David will fulfill the emailed orders ​through February 14, and handle having the customers' mounted prints shipped to our physical shop in the National Wildlife Visitor Center.

• Ann will call each customer when their order arrives at our shop, so customers can arrange to pick up their orders.

• If shopping in-person at our physical shop, customers may place and pay for their orders through February 14 (end date for fundraiser) during normal hours of operation: Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 3:30 PM, as long as there is no government shutdown.

• Note: the print-ordering process via email will remain active during any weather closures or government shutdowns.

• Please note that February 14 is the last day orders can be placed!  

Friends of Patuxent is the official 501(c)(3) nonprofit partner to Patuxent Research Refuge, and helps raise funds to support the mission and wildlife conservation work of the refuge.
